North Norfolk Wheelers

The North Norfolk Wheelers Cycling Club has members from most major towns and villages in North Norfolk. These include Cromer, Sheringham, Aylsham, North Walsham, Overstrand, Sharrington, Sutton and Hindringham. Our club members age range from 15 years to over 80 years. We have approximately 85 active members.

Socially, we hold club rides twice a week throughout the year. On Wednesdays our rides tend to be around 30 – 45 miles long with a break at a cafe or pub for refreshment. The rate tends to be one between 12-15 miles average. Saturday rides are a little longer, around 45 to 70 miles and at a faster pace but again with a break for refreshments. During the racing season we hold over 30 club time trials and hill climbs for those who are interested. There are 16 awards to compete for each year with a "first past the post" awards and handicap system.
